6^th International Congress and Exhibiton on Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency - The Premier EE & RES Business Event in South-East Europe

The most influential event for South-East Europe in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency will be held from 14^th to 16^th April in IEC - Sofia. Germany is again the strategic partner of the forum which incorporates Congress, b2b Exhibition, Networking with 500+ high level industry representatives from the South-East European Region, Matchmaking Session, parallel workshops, and Exhibitors Seminars. It is supported by over 35 International and National Branch Organizations and more than 40 Media Partners. Business leaders, investors, technology innovators, government officials, media representatives and university educators gather to discuss the finance, policy and market challenges South-East Europe faces in 2010.

The CONGRESS:

The new trend topics are:

-  Electric & Hybrid Vehicles: e-cars & e-bikes; Hybrids. At the exhibition are invited producers and importers of such vehicles. Two Bulgarian cars will be presented for the first time, too.

- EE & RES Investing & Financing in South-East Europe - will gather experts from the investment and banking sector and project developers who will discuss the problems and the opportunities of SE European Region. Among the panelists will be investors from USA, Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, etc.

-  Municipality Energy Independence – Case Studies for some 100 % energy independent cities from Austria, Sweden, Germany and UK. There will be a Q/A section between the speakers and the municipality representatives from Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia /FYROM/, Bosnia & Herzegovina and North Greece.

The EXHIBITION

There will be 110 direct exhibitors - National and group participations from Germany, Austria, and USA as well as companies from Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Greece, Denmark, Israel, Finland, Slovakia, Switzerland, etc. This year the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWI) will organize a Joint German Pavilion at which many direct exhibitors will present their innovative renewable energy products and technologies.

The Congress and Exhibition participants will be able to establish face-to-face contacts with high level management industry professionals and investors from the energy branch; “Pre-booked meetings” service will be available online for easiest b2b contacts between the Congress attendees, speakers, VIP guests and exhibitors.
